Every game has its cracks, its bugs. Thats why there are patches and a whole plethora of blizzard employees watching over these types of things. And in Diablo 3 games, those volumes are also necessary:

It consisted of a mage in an oasis with a single ostrich who didn't do anything except sit there and you could level a few times off him (and leveling didn't do anything except trigger that gold spiral effect).

Being able to take the Beta and create a small offline sandbox where you can trigger mobs (That don't do anything at all) and simply auto attack (Since abilities all require server side communication to function) is like, 0.001% of the game. If playing 0.001% for the game floats your boat than by all means, I'll pay my $60 bucks and access 100% of the game personally.

They may be able to reverse engineer EVERYTHING eventually, but it's a hell of a long way off

Currently when someone pops the boss, a giant prompt pops up which covers a rather large portion of the center of your screen. Sometimes I'm still in the middle of stuff (killing an elite, finishing an event, whatever) and it becomes virtually impossible to do anything else, and you have to just either warp to the boss or cancel and miss it. There's no reason this can't just be a small (but noticeable) prompt in the corner of the window. It doesn't need to completely shut down gameplay.I can see the main response to this now: "But then people won't immediately join the boss fight and we'll have to wait on them!" Yeah. So? Maybe you ought to check with the others before popping the boss then. We have 60 seconds, allow us to use them. Heck, I'd even be fine with cutting the time down to 20 or 30 seconds, since frankly I think 60 seconds is kind of long; but that's not the issue I'm raising here now.

I was regularly the first one to reach Baal's room in D2, too. You seem to be forgetting a key fact here: I can still run out the clock if I want to. My requested change has no effect on how long I can make you wait, it just makes the GUI less cumbersome. Can you honestly tell me there will never be an instance in your life playing D3 where you might want to finish something before being forcibly warped to the boss? What if a unique drops smack dab in the middle of the screen? You'll have to run around until you manage to make it show up on one of the sides, and then click it. It's an unnecessary hassle, and a potential issue down the road.Stop thinking I'm an enemy who wants something for nothing and consider the actual issue.
